We finished our Christmas term off with a bang as we performed our own in house Pantomime The Princess, Her Prince and a Pea on 13th and 14th December! We are so proud of everyone in the cast who gave our audiences a wonderful story, brilliant singing and dancing and whole load of fun! We got some wonderful feedback from our audiences and they all got involved with the booing and cheering, especially the Oh Yes I Will/Oh No You Won’t chant which was a particular crowd favourite! They even joined in with our singalong at the end too! There were some fantastic performances with our leads Neve Cummins and Ellen Hobson shining together! Charlotte Parker excelled as the terrible Evil Lyn and was partnered by her meek and mild sister Dulcie played by Eva Burton. Rebecca Clark as King James and Eliza Riding as Queen Thea gave stunning performances to round out the main cast! Olivia Robinson was strong as Rafiki the Shipping Manager and Izzie Wealleans and Emily Day sounded beautiful as Young Elouise and Young David respectively. Our three fairies provided the perfect guide for the audience and were played brilliantly by Bethany Smith, Maria Mann and Isabel Hale and were a perfect opposite to our 3 fake princesses in Eleanor Hirst, Annie Wells and Bethany Teasdale who’s comedic timing was superb! The Ladies in Waiting, played by Holly Bennett and Grace Kilbride, were hilarious and had the audience in stitches running Kieran Boothroyd’s stoic Attorney General round in circles! Special mention must also go out to Finlay Boothroyd as the Pea, showcasing some cool tricks and boundless energy and stamina! The entire cast were absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a better 2 performances! Thank you to everyone who has supported us this term and we hope to see you soon!
