Theatre School Aims

We offer performance experience by staging two large scale shows a year, as well as personalised private tuition to each pupil. This means your child will attend a group session on a Saturday afternoon where the current show or project we are working on will be rehearsed and then, alongside this, on a Tuesday evening we will work in small groups or on a 1 to 1 basis with your child, addressing any worries or struggles they may have and help them with their own individual development. This allows your child to benefit from both a group and an individual learning environment. We understand that children are all different and therefore learn in various ways at their own pace. We want to accommodate all manners of learning so development is achieved across the board, at a similar level, from each student.

The school operates on a termly basis in tandem with Leeds Education.

  • Sept – Christmas (Christmas production)

  • Jan – Easter (Exam + Festival prep followed by Award Ceremony)

  • Easter – Summer (Summer production)

  • We will also hold workshops in the holidays for students to attend.

Special Guest Tuition

West End Workshop

World renowned London casting directors run workshops with our students which prove invaluable when it comes to audition time. Our children learn first hand what skills they need to work on in order to make a great impression.

West End Dancer

As well as our own dance teaching, we regularly invite professional dancers who perform on the stage in the West End of London and can pass on their expert knowledge. It is always beneficial for our students to learn current musical pieces with which they can improve their skills.

Vocal Coach

We arrange for professional vocal coaches to visit our students and polish what is already a great vocal performance both as a group and individual tuition. This can be both challenging and rewarding to our children as they build confidence in their singing abilities.

Regular Workshops & Special Events

We hold special days and enter our students into music festivals and casting opportunities:
Bring a Friend Day
Rothwell Competitive Music Festival
Casting Workshops
Our children recently took part in a professional Music Video
